Did Henry´s „potion“ help Luna? Why did Henry get offended?
He added some wood. He went behind the cabin and picked some sea-buckthorn. I think it’ll be good in the tea. He went back to the front of the cabin, added some wood to the fire and waited a while. Finally, he knocked on the door.
“Can I come in?”
“Yeah, of course.”
He put the sea-buckthorn into the kettle. “Do you really think this will help?” “Yes, my own experience.” “You really don’t have any pills?” Henry passed the question over with silence. He picked up the canteen, the kettle with tea mix and walked out. Great. And now he’s gonna be even offended? Really?
Henry went out and put the water on the fire to boil. He added some wood again. He sat down on the bench and looked into the fire. He always loved the way the flames danced, overlapping in different ways and bound with nothing. After a while, Luna sat down next to him. They just sat next to each other for a while, but then Luna couldn’t stand it to be quiet. “Hey, are you angry?” Henry just smiled.
“No, why?”
“It seemed to me that you were angry.” “No, I’m not really angry. I just don’t like it when someone doesn´t believe in my work. It’s always been that way. Someone came up and told me my work sucked.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for you to think that. I was just surprised that tea could help with that.”
“It’s okay.” Henry carefully removed the flask from the fire and poured water into the kettle.
“There, it’ll be ready in 15 minutes. Are you hungry?” “I could eat something, but I don’t know what.”
“Leave it to me.” “Okay.”
